La Festa Mille Miglia Returns Again!

La Festa Mille Miglia, a rally officially recognized by the Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens (FIVA), will return for the 14th time this year.
The event, which will take place over four days between Saturday October 9, 2010 and Tuesday October 12, 2010, will feature original classic sports vehicles built between 1919 and 1967 and cover 1,600 kilometers in 10 prefectures. Please see the entry page to learn how to participate in this event. We accept applications until June 30, 2010.

Classic cars are not merely functional, but have an aesthetic beauty that modern cars have lost through the pursuit of functionality and practicality.
The reason why these historic cars continue to be preserved more than half a century since their creation lies in their beauty that never ceases to capture people’s hearts. The importance of respecting our traditions, which is one of the event mottos, is not about placing value on things simply because they are old. The motto embodies the belief that people have much to learn from traditional things, which are as valuable as cutting edge technology and science.
We seek to show people of generations to come the artisanal creativity, superior techniques, and passion that are embodied in each individual classic car.

La Festa Mille Miglia will return this year to conquer another 1,000 miles of adventure and dreams. We thank you for your continuous support.
